Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! It is truly an honor for me to be the principal of Byrd Avenue Primary School, and I am looking forward to working closely with you to ensure the academic success and well-being of all our students. I have been working diligently with staff, teachers, and supervisors to ensure a safe opening of our school and to implement the best practices for all students.
All of us at Byrd Avenue will continue to do our best to keep our learning environments safe for all employees and for every child that enters our building. I, as well as the entire staff and teachers, have high expectations for each and every student. Together, with your help, we will strive to make connections with our students to help them feel valued, accepted, and safe. Our motto of "Fired up for S'More Learning” will continue to guide our mission to provide a rigorous and joyful school environment for all students.
I look forward to the start of the new school year and to continuing our collaboration to provide your child with an effective and engaging educational experience. I will look to our families to be positive partners in this year’s journey as we prepare our” little scholars” to become productive and successful citizens.
