In accordance with R.S. 17:1944, BCSD is required to create a special education advisory council. The purpose of the BCSD SEAC is to provide suggestions, advice, and feedback regarding special education policies, procedures, and resources. The SEAC also engages in outreach activities in the community at large to increase the level of knowledge, support, and collaboration with respect to Exceptional Student Services.
