Mr. Carlos Howard’s 5th period students all earned an A for the 3rd weeks in social studies! He provided sausage biscuits to these 7th graders as a reward for their excellent work! Keep reaching for the stars!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️

Students in Mr. Darren Williams's world geography classes are working on a project titled Cultural Artifact Showcase of Western European Countries. Students are working in cooperative groups to research and create a presentation on a cultural artifact from a specific Western European country. This could include traditional clothing, art, music instruments, etc. The groups will
then present their artifact to the class, explaining its significance, history, and cultural context. Working in cooperative groups enhances student understanding and engagement. This is a strategy being implemented in all of our BHS classrooms. Kudos to Mr. Williams and his geography scholars!! 🌎🖤💛

6th grade students in Mrs. Amy Fleming's math classes used a hands-on approach to gain a better understanding of evaluating expressions with exponents. Students recorded the number of folds in a paper and found the exponential power of those folds. Great job, math scholars!!
