
ADAPT Rape Prevention Education Program donated essential supplies for the BHS Care Closet. These items are available for students in need and consist of personal hygiene supplies, school supplies, and school uniforms. Any local businesses or individuals willing to donate for our students at any of the BCS schools, contact Mrs. Trenise Graves or Mrs. Amy Adams at BHS.


Christmas in Cassidy, 5k Reindeer Run took place today. Our BHS Cadets showed they were in the Christmas spirit by volunteering to run in today's event.











Today, the BHS JROTC Cadets assisted in laying wreaths at Ponemah Cemetery in preparation for Wreaths Across America.
After their hard work, they were provided lunch from the American Legion. Thank you to these Cadets!











Many thanks to these generous community members that donated to our students today! They call themselves Socks: Serving Others in Our Community with Kindness! They collect donations of new socks through the year and bag them with sweet treats and give them at Christmas.

American Legion Post 24 held the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony today.
The BHS Color Guard posted the Colors.
The Cadets received a lesson on specific gliders that were used in WW II.
Afterward, cadets enjoyed breakfast with veterans and community.











6th grade student Payton Crumedy was recognized for her participation in the Mile Branch Spelling Bee held recently at the Washington Parish Free Fair. Mrs. Carolyn McElveen presented Payton with a gift of appreciation for representing BHS in this annual event.


Access Health LA donated rally towels to BHS to be used at sporting events throughout the school year. We are thankful for this partnership!🖤💛


January 5th is the last day to register without a late fee for the February 10th ACT test. Waivers are available for juniors and seniors but do not cover late fees. See Mrs. Hanson for a waiver.

Tonight history was made at BHS! For the first time ever, we inducted middle school scholars into a new organization on campus, National Junior Honor Society. These students were selected based on their excellent academic records as well as their strength of character. They are leaders on our campus, and we are so excited about their club and its future!

Our football season came to a close, but oh, what a season it was!! We could not be more proud of this team of young men. They are hard working, dedicated, respectful leaders on the field and off. Kudos to Coach Crutchfield and our coaching staff for the tireless work they put in all year long. They have given us all much more than football. We are so proud and thankful!l
