We were pleased to welcome Washington Parish Registrar of Voters Mr. Randy Strickland to our campus today. All
seniors who met the age requirement were allowed to register to vote. He will come back in the spring for another voter registration drive.

Students in Mrs. Monique Douglas's digital media/CTE class helped to inform our campus of the different graduation pathways by designing Know the Facts signs. These signs give brief explanations of each graduation pathway as well as TOPS scholarships available. The signs caught the attention of the student body and sparked important conversations. Great job, Mrs. Douglas and students!!!

Student scientists in Mrs. Kathy Lopez's class tested out chemical reactions using eggs today. They placed eggs in vinegar. Potassium carbonate from the eggshells and the acidity of the vinegar combined and formed a chemical reaction. The egg went from having a hard shell to a soft shell. This created a new product able to bounce like a ball! Studnets were able to discuss and explain what was happening. Great job to Mrs. Lopez and her scholars!🥼🥚
